Request: Escape [Sunggyu]

Request: Sunggyu — Vampire

[My imagination may have escaped with me on this one (//U//) *laugh*]

—————————————————————————————

“Isn’t it too early for Halloween?” you sighed.

He blinked at you then smiled, “It’s never too early.”

You laughed, “But to attend a party dressed up like that is a little…you know.”

He glanced down at his attire. He stretched his arms out and you stared and the beautiful red satin lining of his cape. His suit was neatly pressed and you could see clean creases in his slacks. His light brown hair was swept upwards away from his face and his smile dazzling.

He gestured at your elaborate gown with the long train and gold embroidery, “We make quite a pair. We could be a prince and his princess.”

You smiled and smoothed down the front of your dress, “Perhaps.”

“Well, wasn’t that mysterious answer.” he chuckled at you, “What is a princess like you doing at a dance like this?”

You tilted your head at him, “Wouldn’t you like to know.”

He stood still. Something about your aura was pulling him in. He didn’t know what you were doing to him.

“Pretty girls shouldn’t be out in the dark at night.” he whispered and took a step towards you.

You continued to smile your small smile at him, “And why is that?”

He stood toe to toe with you, “There are monsters out here that would love to sweep you away.”

“Maybe I want to be swept away.” you whispered back at him.

You didn’t break your gaze away from his, “There are worse things than being taken away.”

He blinked. The trance like state you were both in seemed to shatter, “What do you mean by that?”

Your smile finally faltered, “It’s nothing.”

You heard people shouting for you from inside. The soft clatter of shoes on the tiling drew your eyes away from the beautiful male in front of you. The aides were standing and waiting for you. You sighed and turned back around, but the balcony was empty.

The only evidence of the mysterious stranger was the slight warmth of his breath that passed over your lips.

“Princess.” they called you once more.

You sighed and turned your back on the night.

Sunggyu glanced down at you from his perch on the roof next door, “It was her party.”

He looked down at his open palm, “What did she mean there was worse? And people complain that I’m too cryptic.”

He sighed. His eyes tracing your retreating form. Never had he been that enraptured with anything. There was something about the emotion behind your eyes that had him lost.

He looked down at the group approaching the mansion. The light glinted off the invitation in their hands and Sunggyu dropped down.

“Can’t you smile at least?” your mother snapped.

You grinned widely at her, “Better?”

She huffed and tipped her nose away from you, “For goodness’ sake. Can’t you at least try and look presentable?”

“No.” you muttered.

Your father sighed and backed away. This wasn’t his place to pick a fight.

The door opened back up and you lazily glanced at the people entering.

There was just one man.

With a beautifully familiar red lined satin cape. The boy at the door took it from him and put it in the nearby coat room.

Under the lighting indoors, his cheeks were a rosy color and his eyes shining at you.

You held your breath as he stepped up to you, “We meet again.”

Your mother looked between the two of you before slowly backing away.

“So we do.” you breathed out, “What are you—”

“Joining the party.” he cut you off with a soft chuckle. His eyes formed crescents that seemed to smile at you as much as his mouth.

His hand moved out and slid around your waist to the small of your back, “Dance with me?”

You nodded your head; it was like a daze took over you.

He guided you gently to the dance floor and swept you around in a turn.

Your eyes connected back with his. His expression seemed to look rather serious and he led you in a swift dance.

“So how is this not better than being swept away by a monster?” he suddenly asked.

You looked up at his face, “You do know what this party is for, do you not?”

He shook his head, “Do people not have parties for no reason?”

You laughed, he smiled at the vibration that shook from your chest to his, “They do. But they also don’t.”

“Oo. Another cryptic message from the same beautiful face.” he chuckled.

“Cryptic is my specialty.” you smirked at him.

He grinned back, “I like that kind of specialty in a girl.”

He was taken aback when a pink tinge colored your cheeks. You started to flirt with him and when he responded you got embarrassed. How adorable was that? His gaze returned to look outwards at the other dancers.

“So this party?” he prodded again.

“Is to find me a suitable husband.” you replied quickly.

He glanced down at you. You weren’t facing him. In fact you looked like you were avoiding his eyes.

“Why?” he asked. Your eyes turned upward. He could read the confusion.

“What do you mean why?” you questioned, “Is that not the natural thing for parents to do?”

He spun you around in another circle. He found your parents watching you closely from a distance.

“Are they doing it for you? Or are they doing it for them?” he whispered at you, “What do you want to do?”

You stopped moving. He followed and stood still, his arms still holding you closely to his chest.

Your eyes were darting around as you tried to come up with an answer.

Your head leaned forward and he could smell the slight scent of shampoo. Under that he could smell the scent of your skin. He could feel your pulse under his fingers. His eyes slid shut. He could feel his canine teeth elongate.

“Princess.” he heard himself breathe out.

Your head turned up. His eyes looked deep into yours.

“Stop me.” he sighed.

You couldn’t move. His head moved down to yours. You could feel his breath fan against your lips. Without thinking you closed the gap between the two of you.

He felt the warmth of your lips on his. His canine teeth shortened again. He nipped on your lower lip and you felt his tongue brush the bite soon after.

You pulled back and held your hand to your lips.

Your eyes were still connected with the male in front of you, “What—”

“Do you want to stay?” the words rushed out of his mouth.

You took a quick look around. Your parents were rushing guards forward. You couldn’t hear anything though. It was like you were in a dream world with no one but you and this man.

You swallowed and looked back at him. His eyes were calling something in you. Something you hadn’t felt before.

You shook your head, “I don’t want to stay.”

He smiled at you, “Then—”

His lips were on yours again. You felt his tongue on your lip and his teeth nip your lower lip again.

He tugged gently and he slipped his tongue into your mouth. There was a metallic taste that filled your mouth and you felt your throat go warm.

He pulled back and your eyes were drawn to his full lips. There was a tinge of red in the corner of his mouth.

Suddenly you were overtaken with warmth. It was spreading from your throat down your body. You could feel it pooling in your fingers.

You gasped and he clutched you to his chest, “I’m sorry. It’s unbearably warm, isn’t it? It’ll be over soon.”

“What will be over?” you gasped. Your fingers clutched at his blazer, “It’s hot.”

“Shh.” he cooed and stroked your hair. You could see guards moving into the room slowly. It was like they were all moving in slow motion.

You gasped again. The male in front of you grabbed you by your waist and lifted you slightly.

“Just a bit more. I’m sorry.” he sighed, his eyes were warm and apologetic, “This will hurt just a bit more.”

You were about to ask what when he pressed small kisses to the side of your neck. He trailed them up to under your ear before trailing them back down. You felt his tongue again. He licked a small portion of your neck and you felt two small pricks.

It didn’t hurt at first. But then the intrusions went deeper. They stretched the skin on your neck as they punctured the flesh.

You gasped and cried out. You felt his hand continue to stroke the back of your head. It was little consolation.

Your fingers had a firm grip on his blazer still. You felt them twitch as a spasm shook your body.

A lightheaded feeling started to take over. You could feel him sucking the blood from your neck.

“Stop.” you breathed out, “Stop.”

He slowly pulled his head up. Before he pulled away fully he licked the spot and kissed it once more.

Your feet were back on the ground he grabbed your hand in his and made a dash for the door.

After running non-stop for 10 minutes he finally slowed down before stopping all at once.

You tugged your hand out of his, “What are you?”

He turned to you. The flush in his cheeks highlighted by the glow of the moon, “Do you not know?”

You were flustered. You knew what he was. He was one of those monsters that he was talking about. But the questions you wanted to ask weren’t coming out of your mouth.

He walked back the couple of paces between you. Your fear was strong but you wouldn’t back down. He smiled at you.

You were hesitant. You didn’t want to smile back at him.

His hand reached out and stroked down your cheek, “I won’t harm you.”

You felt something jolt through you. He wasn’t lying. You knew it. How you knew it, you didn’t know. But he was telling you the truth.

“We’re connected now. You and I.” he said, his smile not wavering. His hands grabbed the both of yours.

“I’m Sunggyu. A vampire.” he said slowly. He took a pause before kneeling down in front of you, “And I am yours if you will have me, Princess.”
